On 22nd November , Umberto BOMBANA, the king of white truffle, will visit Shanghai. Together with Riccardo la Perna, chef of 8 1/2 Otto e Mezzo BOMBANA Shanghai, they will present a four hands dinner with new tailor-made white truffle menu.

It’s the season Alba, Italy welcomes the annual harvest of white truffle! Precious white Truffle, the very diamond of gastronomy, is present on the table as the protagonist.



The rich fall and winter soup is made with chestnuts and sweet lobster; aromatic Egg in Raviolo “Bergese”; Chef Riccardo’s signature dish – Baby veal tenderloin with intense meat flavor and truffled rice emulsion, all served with best Italian white truffle!

Umberto Bombana

Chef Bombana, remarking as a national treasure in Italy, and the winner of “Lifetime Achievement” at Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants Awards, opened his first 8 1/2 Otto e Mezzo BOMBANA in Hong Kong, the only 3-starred Italian Michelin restaurant which is not located in Italy. Chef Bombana has been joined by talented Chef Riccardo La Perna at the helm of the 8 1/2 Otto e Mezzo BOMBANA Shanghai kitchen to deliver tantalizing delicacies and new inspiration to the Shanghai connoisseurs. Under his leadership, 8 1/2 Otto e Mezzo BOMBANA Shanghai received the fourth consecutive Michelin two stars from 2016.
